Booking Information
Is cruising affordable?
Absolutely! To get an idea of just how affordable, take a look at our
"Mexico Specials". Anyone can find a cruise vacation to suit their budget. And there are no hidden costs. Cruise fares include meals, cabin, onboard activities, parties and entertainment. You'll know what your vacation will end up costing you before you go.
No hidden costs?
Your only extra expenses are drinks, optional shore excursions, and personal services such as dry cleaning, massage or hairstyling. You may also wish to tip the ship personnel for the service they provide.
How long does a cruise last?
There are itineraries to suit anyone's schedule, lasting from three days to three months.
Where can I go on a cruise?
You can go wherever you want. Cruises visit over 1,800 ports worldwide and practically every destination accessible by water. To learn more about some of the destinations or if you would just like to know the location of a cruise, go to our
"Map of Mexico" and sea where in the world you are going.
Can I book on short notice?
While it's always best to book with us as early as possible, even the most popular cruises have cancellations which create last minute available space. Give us a call at 1-877-222-2027 and we'll check for you.
Remember, to get the exact ship, stateroom, and sailing date you want, plan and book early. Most cruise lines also offer early booking discounts for customers who plan ahead.
Are there late-booking discounts?
If you are willing to pack up and go with as little as a days notice, then check out our
"Mexico Specials" page. The cruise lines make these super-discounted rates available to us when they want to fill the remaining space on the ship. You need to be flexible in your travel plans, which includes your destination. And the only thing you need to bring with you is your spirit of adventure.
Do cruise lines welcome families and kids?
Families are booking more and more cruise vacations. Most cruise lines provide plenty of supervised activities for youngsters, especially during school holidays. Ships like the Disney Magic and Wonder even provide a Kids-Only Deck!
If your children enjoy swimming, sports, games, movies and the adventure of new places, they'll love a family cruise. You'll find that children adapt to shipboard life with ease, and you won't have to wonder what they're up to every minute. The youth counselors will help keep them busy and entertained. Ships even offer youth camps that cater to all ages, from toddlers to teens. Best of all, children generally travel at a substantially reduced rate.
Is there a charge for entertainment?
No. Other than your drinks, there are no other costs. On a cruise vacation, the entertainment is on the house. There's no cover, minimum or charge for an admission ticket. The shows are live, films first-rate and all included in your cruise fare.
What about tipping?
Tipping is a matter of individual preference. A general rule of thumb is to plan for about $2.50 to $3.00 per person per day for your room steward and dining room waiter, and about half that amount for your busboy. (A few cruise lines include tipping in the price and will inform you of this in your cruise documents.) Other
shipboard personnel can be tipped for special services at your
discretion.
